Moonlite Storybook projector – Review

What’s the Verdict?

I think this is a lovely product that enhances story time with the little ones. It’s such a simple idea but it truly transforms the story reading process. I found the projections really kept the kids focused. I read one with my 3 yr old niece and her 1 yr old sister and they loved it. So much so that they immediately wanted another story. Imagine how you could use this to your advantage. Ha ha!

A major plus point to this product is it’s simplicity. The projector just clips onto your phone and away you go. There is an app that accompanies it, which is also straight forward to use and the music and sound effects are great. At first I thought the price was average/expensive. But then I thought about how much a toddlers picture book costs these days. You’d be lucky to get 5 books for £19.99. Consequently I think the price is great. Just avoid the single books and go for the bundles which are much better value. The only down side I found was that they can only fit 12 slides on a reel. With some of the longer stories out there, I think I’d want more slides without having to change reels but thats just me.

In conclusion this is a fantastic little gadget that adds a twist to story time. If you have the opportunity then get one.
