What is a Turnado Ride-on?

The Turnado Ride-on go kart combines the stability and control of traditional scooter handlebars with an innovative wheel configuration. The front wheels are large and air filled whereas the back ones are like coasters. This enables racers to experience the absolute thrill of seemingly traction-less movement. What’s more, the Turnado has a controlled speed system that allows the driver to easily speed up and slow down for the best possible maneuvering for spins, turns, and other cool stunts.

What’s the Verdict?

Let’s start at the beginning. Turnado Ride-on assembly is super easy and only took 5 mins. We are literally talking 4 screws for the seat then slotting the handle bars into place. Once set up it’s about charging. For the impatient amongst us, this needs planning. They recommend 20-24 hrs before the first ride, and nobody needs tears due to unforeseen charing needs. Subsequent charges are only 8-12 hrs(overnight) so less to worry about there. But once you’re passed this you’re in a different world with a great 40+mins riding time.

The Turnado is easily one of the best ride-on toys I’ve ever had the pleasure of testing. The build quality is apparent from the start. Sturdy and well finished. The ride itself is smooth and exciting. Drifting is so much fun and my kids had an absolutely fantastic time. One of the highlights is the anti tilt design. It means you can almost guarantee your kids won’t fall out no matter how sharply they turn. Parents can rest easy.

The only downside for the Turnado Ride-on is the price tag. At £339.99 its one of the most expensive ride-on’s out there but you definitely get what you pay for. If you’re looking for ride-on or go-kart styled toy you can’t go wrong with this. 10/10
