Descendants 2 BAFTA Preview Screening
On Saturday 7th of October 2017 I hosted the Descendants 2 BAFTA Preview Screening. The hotly anticipated sequel to the hugely successful Disney original movie Descendants, airs on Disney Channel later this month. This was an opportunity for some of the franchise’s biggest fans to see the film before anyone else.
Who’s in it?
Descendants 2 stars Dove Cameron as Mal, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay and Mitchell Hope as King Ben. This sequel has also ushered in new villains China Anne McClain as Uma, the daughter of Ursula; and Thomas Doherty as Harry, son of Captain Hook. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the man behind High School Musical, Descendants and Michael Jackson’s This Is It, the film is a fun and exciting musical adventure.
Screening and Q&A?
At the Descendants 2 BAFTA Preview Screening we were treated to a couple exclusive BAFTA videos with actors from the film. Then we watched the movie in its entirety. After a very successful screening which everyone enjoyed, Thomas Doherty the films leading Brit joined us for a Q&A session. He talked to us about Decendants 2, his co-stars, acting, rapping and of course Dove Cameron. I did manage to get a little time with the up and coming star, and you can watch my interview below.
