CBeebies Presenter Nigel
Being Cbeebies presenter Nigel is an incredibly fun job so I thought I’d add this post to the Nigel Clarke blog. One of the reasons I love my job so much is that every day is different. One day I could be singing about different animals the next I might be explaining the planets of the solar system. So I have decided to put some of my favourite moments here on this post so you can enjoy them with me. I will split them up into 2 categories. Sketches and Songs. I have to give a big shout out to my CBeebies family Evie Pickerill, Katy Ashworth, Rebecca Keatley, Ben Cajee and Dodge (aka Warrick Brownlow-Pike). They are a crazy bunch who make this job even more fun.

Favourite CBeebies Sketches
Rapunzel
This is me as Rapunzel for World Book Day. It took a few takes for Evie to stop laughing but it was well worth it in the end. Definitely my favourite link to date.
Derek & Delores Cake Making
I always have lots of fun playing my alter ego Derek. He’s a bit of a loose canon and you never know where he may go. This was the first time Derek & Delores ever met but I think they should definitely do more together.

Snowflakes Fall
Think this the most popular song I’ve been part of. It received a lot of love on the socials and drove many of you round the bend as is got stuck in your heads.
Winter Dance
Always fun doing a song with Dodge and Evie. Loved the staging of this one, opening shots are classic cheese. And let’s not even start on the sweat band life!
Imagination Adventure Song
With its inspiration lying somewhere between The Greatest Showman and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Imagination Adventure song is a work of art. I wasn’t meant to sing soprano but after messing around in rehearsals it kinda stuck!
The Fish Song
This was another energetic afternoon in the CBeebies House with miss Katy Ashworth. We loved the track from the first listen, which isn’t always the case. One hour and a few takes later this master piece was shot.
